RSVP for in-person events
By inro.social
What this automation does
- Automates RSVP capture for in-person events by responding to comments containing RSVP on the latest post.
- Opens with a button: “Want a spot at Spring Workshop on Saturday at 10 am? Tap for the RSVP link.” (postback: “Send me the link”).
- Replies with DM-ready confirmations: “Sent you the details by DM”, “Check your DMs for the RSVP link”, or “Just sent it to your DMs 🙂”.
- Collects the user’s email (2 attempts, 2-hour expiry) to deliver the RSVP link.
- Sends a conversion link to save the spot, adds the contact to a folder, and issues a reminder if the option expires.
- If the user misses the link, posts a reminder: “No rush. The RSVP link is above if you still want a spot.”
How it works
1) Trigger: comment on the next post containing RSVP keywords.
2) Opener: a button template appears with a postback to get the link.
3) Lead capture: email collected and used to send the RSVP.
4) Conversion: RSVP link delivered; contact is saved; reminder scheduled if needed.
When to use
- For events with limited seating.
- To convert comment engagement into RSVPs and leads.
- When you want consistent, automated outreach.
